EASIER THAN
YOU THINK

Contrary to popular belief, it’s fairly simple to purchase high-quality liquidated merchandise for personal use or resale! Our team is here to help answer all the questions you have and make your experience seamless.

What is liquidated merchandise?

When a company closes, moves, or has products that are left unsold, that product is typically packaged up, placed on pallets, and offloaded in bulk. Many times it’s easier to offload this merchandise than to ship it to a new location or attempt to sell it in-store.

Big box retailers sometimes run into issues with the sheer volume of products they can carry on their shelves. Some of those products have to be removed to make room for better selling or higher-profit products. This leads companies to liquidate merchandise to free up some of their shelf or storage space.

What types of liquidated merchandise do you sell?

We sell a variety of types of merchandise. Some of the most common types are as follows:

Closeouts: This type includes many different merch categories but commonly includes clothing, home decor, footwear, accessories, toys, and more. Closeout merchandise can be split into two categories: Salvage & Job-Outs.

Salvage: This type of merchandise typically consists of products returned by customers, floor products (ones that are tried by customers), and samples. Because there is such a mix of products, there is a likelihood that some of the items will be damaged, but this doesn’t always mean the product is unsellable or doesn’t work. The majority of products we receive are not damaged.

Job-Outs: These products have typically outstayed their welcome on a retail floor, have not sold, and have either been marked down, transferred to the “final sale or closeout,” These items have historically low damage rates due to the nature of their product journey.

QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE

What is FOB

Free on Board (FOB) is a shipment term used to indicate whether the seller or the buyer is liable for goods that are damaged or destroyed during shipping. “FOB shipping point” or “FOB origin” means the buyer is at risk once the seller ships the product. The purchaser pays the shipping cost from the factory and is responsible if the goods are damaged while in transit. “FOB destination” means the seller retains the risk of loss until the goods reach the buyer.

What is MOQ

MOQ is an acronym that stands for minimum order quantity. It is the minimum amount of a product a customer must order for the business to be willing to fulfill the order.

What is a BOL

The bill of lading is a required document to move a freight shipment. The bill of lading (BOL) works as a receipt of freight services, a contract between a freight carrier and shipper and a document of title. The bill of lading is a legally binding document providing the driver and the carrier all the details needed to process the freight shipment and invoice it correctly.

What is a Resale Certificate?

If you buy products exclusively to resale in the state of Missouri, you can often avoid paying sales tax on your purchases by presenting a Missouri resale certificate at checkout. Always keep in mind that you should only use your resale certificate to buy items you intend to resell or that you intend to use as a component part of an item for resale. Any other use of the resale certificate (such as buying office supplies or personal items) is usually considered unlawful.
